TV Control Center (KET) was created in May 2012. The space used to serve as a workshop for repairing TV sets back in the 70’s & 80’s. Now it’s an independent art space that hosts theatrical plays, dance performances, screenings, concerts, seminars, dj sets and more.
We designed their first brand identity back in 2012 by drawing inspiration from the CRT monitor technology and the process of how pixels are used to create images. After 5 years the space became more popular and we were commissioned to refine the brand identity in a way that would better communicate the space’s diverse programme and work better on digital applications.
By working on the same concept, we designed a shorter version of the logo. We expanded the visual identity and created a modular system of lines, connections and symbols similar to electric circuits. This new system can easily be transformed and adapt to any media. The website works as a calendar, allowing visitors to access information about the events.
