Lalande is a new lifestyle brand founded by Lisa Furuland Kotsianis, a Swedish entrepreneur based in Athens. Lisa came to us with the vision to create a global brand that would be aspirational in every respect, and that would combine her Scandinavian background with South European experiences and influences. This is how Lalande was born; firstly as an interior design brand that is gradually expanding its portfolio with apparel, fine art, and more, with the intention to create spaces and moments of elevated living, from morning till dusk and beyond.
Nowhere Studio has been Lalande's exclusive branding partner from the inception of the project, providing consulting and creative services throughout the process of conceptualising, developing, designing, and launching the brand. We created the entire branding strategy, complete with detailed brand guidelines, and were also responsible for naming the brand. As soon as Lalande was chosen as the brand name, we designed the logo and a comprehensive visual identity system that could be applied across all brand touchpoints, including the signature colour palette, a library of symbols, patterns, and more.
We then worked closely with Lisa during the months of launching the brand by designing all the main visual assets for the packaging, corporate identity elements, and social media content. The brand's main touchpoint is its official website, which takes the form of a single-page scroll that introduces the user to the overall brand experience and also includes a detailed lookbook with the inaugural collection of Lalande products. The website and lookbook are thus the first complete expression of all brand elements coming together, from graphic design elements, typography, and photography to the brand's tone of voice and key messaging.
