For three generations, the Sebepou family has been producing its signature olive oil in Monemvasia. Brothers Diamantis and Giannis uphold the family and regional legacy, elevating Laconia's unique oil. With reverence for the land and its people, they craft pure, organic extra virgin olive oil with exceptional flavor, blending two olive varieties.
We embarked on crafting their brand identity from inception. From product naming to packaging and social media outreach.
The name emerged from an anagram of "oil." The repetition of the syllable birthed a mellifluous, straightforward, and evocative name for the oil. Each syllable represents one of the Sebepou brothers.
For the packaging, we opted to tint the bottle to optimize oil preservation.
At the core of our visual narrative lies an illustration portraying the brothers and their reverence for nature, land, and ancestral legacy. The illustration adopts a sketch-style, accentuating the artisanal and unadulterated essence of the olive oil.
"LioLio" is rendered in a blend of uppercase and lowercase letters, forming a cohesive shape as the lowercase "i"is aligned uniformly. The dot atop the "i" is crafted to resemble an olive.
Our color palette draws from typical hues of similar products but introduces nuanced and distinctive tones. The two oil varieties are distinguished by color, with the organic exuding a vibrant green and the regular (non-organic) boasting a luminous beige.
