Visual Identity for a series of lectures
Client
Ministry of Culture
Year
2018
We were commissioned by the Greek Ministry of Culture to design the identity for a series of lectures about the impact of a museums collection in the local community and how the collection interacts with local economies, and their line of production.
We created a series of illustrations inspired by traditional embroidery artefacts that are showcased in greek museums. The shape of a peacock was created out of geometrical patterns representing the elements that every community adds to the traditional forms and the new ideas that emerge in this process. The shapes are repeated and reproduced as a reference to the commercial value of new products.
