MOLD Architects was founded in 2011 by Iliana Karestentzi. Their practice combines research, creative experimentation, architectural design, construction, landscape design, visual arts and parametric design. The studio is well known for the design of luxurious residences in some of the most popular greek islands.

For the logo design, we were inspired by the definition of the brand name. We illustrated the meaning of the word “mold” through the typographic element “o”. More specifically, we designed the exterior of its shape as a circle which represents the perfect architectural result and the exterior as a square which represents the thorough architectural creative process. The geometric glyph is placed among the letters of the word mold resulting in a simple but yet distinctive typographic sum which is the core of a sophisticated and timeless brand.
